Welcome to Walawa Safari. By booking a safari through our website or directly, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Booking and Payment

Bookings are confirmed only after receiving full payment or a specified deposit.
All prices are in USD and include local taxes unless stated otherwise.
Confirmation of your Udawalawe safari tour will be sent to your provided email address.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a full refund (minus bank processing fees).
Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a 50% refund.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour or for no-shows.

Wildlife Sightings

While Udawalawe National Park has a very high concentration of wildlife, sightings of specific animals (such as leopards or sloth bears) cannot be guaranteed. Our guides will do their best to find the animals you wish to see, but nature is unpredictable.

Safety and Conduct

Guests must follow the instructions of the safari guide at all times for their own safety.
Keep noise levels to a minimum to avoid disturbing the animals.
Do not get out of the vehicle unless instructed by the guide in a designated safe area.
Do not feed or attempt to touch any wildlife.
Smoking and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited inside the national park.

Responsibility

Walawa Safari is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur during the safari tour. Guests are advised to have their own travel insurance. We reserve the right to modify or cancel a tour due to extreme weather conditions or park closures beyond our control.
